Hero and Villian on the terrace. Dishum Dishum. Hero And Heroine jumps from the top of a 30 storey building. Heroine opens her parachute enabled umbrella. Hero grabs heroine by her waist. They barely knowing each other fell in love instantly in the backdrop of a large moon while they are falling at an acceleration of 10 Cm/second as if the umbrella has an anti gravity factor in it. Tere Naina.. a ball dance in air starts with an umbrella parachute in one hand !!!
This was the part of Chandni Chowk To China. I hope Warner Bros. will be more careful in selecting movies in bollywood than simply throwing money in 1990's boring script. It was so boring and every next moment in the movie was predictable that I was praying God to finish this movie as soon as posible. Even i once slept for 5 mins while watching the movie. The main culprit who ruined the movie is Akshay Kumar. He only knows showing teeth. He laughs while crying and cut jokes when you just think its going to be serious now and ruins all the excitement. Simply you can't even judge the genre of the movie. I don't know whether it was a comedy movie or a tragedy or a thriller of a simple kungfu movie or a fantasy kungfu involving flying, chi energy and mythological kungfu powers.
Gordon Liu was very good and so do Deepika Padukone who did justice to her double role. I don't know while every other actor in this movie was serious in his scene what made Director(Nikhil Advani) to make the character of Siddhu(Akshay) so stupidly foolish. Siddhu even laughs few scenes after his Dadda was murdered by Hojo(Gordon Liu). By the way Dadda is Mithun and its not clear whether he is Dad, or Grandfather or a brother or any other relative of Siddhu.
The background music was decade old. There are some sounds which will remind you of emotional scnenes of old movies. Ha Ha. Simply this movie is Old Wine In New Bottle. So much Hype. Good for nothing.
Watch it if you are die hard fans of Akshay's comedy coz you will only see Akshay making bizzare jokes in emotional scenes.
I have mentioned about Ghajini also in the Title. Well Ghajini is not a boring movie but you will feel helpless when you know the story already before watching the movie. Aamir is a role model for new actors and directors. He should not make copy of other movies or others will follow in the same trend of making copies of english movies. Now since he has earned good money from Ghajini I hope he will not make any other movie copied from Hollywood. Better use that money in good fresh script like Tare Zameen Par, Slumdog Millionaire. India is such a big country full with great writers. I am sure Amir's next movie will a classic original like Lagaan.
